CaptainCon! Terrain Photographs!

Good morning everyone! Old Rogue is travelling to CaptainCon in Warwick, RI this weekend!  We’ll be there around eight in the morning this Friday the 7th, and stick around all through Sunday.  If you have models you’d like painted or would just like to stop by and chat, please feel free to stop by.

Also, since I know folks will doubtless be hungry for pictures – some pictures!  Mostly of the terrain done up for Fusion Forge, though there’s loads more in the works – including things that aren’t terrain!  Ali and Shanan will be there with FusionForge 3D Printing across the way from us at CaptainCon, but I’m not sure I can say whether they’ll have a ton of new and exciting stuff with them or not   I might not be allowed.

(THEY WILLLLLLL)

Happy painting,

Fusion Forge 3D Printing Work

If you like pina coladas, and also model miniature wargaming terrain, WATCH THIS SPACE. Fusion Forge 3D Printing has very graciously asked me to paint an example piece from their (frankly) very wide-ranging and high quality library. I’ll be posting pieces of this over the next few weeks almost every day. When their website goes live I’ll also be posting that a bunch – should be live at the end of next week. They’re a lovely husband and wife team, ex-military and very professional.  I’ll post things here as they’re finished – tomorrow is a priming day for all this and then it’ll hopefully be at least a piece or two a day.  So excited!!

Happy painting,
Adam

A Few Quick Photographs!

Hi there everyone! I wanted to post a few pictures of what I’ve been working on recently – a small assortment, really, since I’ve been working on a large terrain project for a very local client, and he just walks to the studio rather than request photos.   Hope you enjoy!

Happy painting,

Adam

Heads Up!

A very quick post – did these up this evening and really liked the look of them.  I bought these from Fusion Forge 3D Printing over at Armorcon in Framingham last month and just got paint on them today.  Highly recommended. Check them out at fusionforge3dprinting.com – website’s almost live!

Happy painting,

Adam

A Quick Note

If you’re ever unsatisfied with my work, in any way,  I will do anything in my power to make sure you get models done up to what you want, within the standard paid for.  Please understand that I am not painting Golden Demon, award-winning models here.  The goal is to get your stuff looking good so you can play with it on the tabletop. As the hundreds of photographs on this website show, my tabletop quality is above the usual.  If you’re unsatisfied with color scheme, or anything like that, I’m happy to take the models back and work on them until you are satisfied.

What I will not do is paint your models up to a 9 or 10 standard on a 7 or 8 commission rate.  Please don’t try this as going forward I will no longer refund your money based on this juvenile stunt.  This is my full-time work – I have to defend my name and my business.  To everyone who’s supported me in the last five years of this, I thank you.  For the people who inexplicably try to drag my name through the mud, you might want to take a look at who you are and decide if that’s the kind of person you really want to be.

Happy Painting,

Gloomspite Gitz Photo Shoot

Hi there everyone!  Been working on a mountain of new stuff for the Ebay machine – but I wanted to show you what I play with regularly.  I have a couple of friends who play Age of Sigmar also, and these guys are my current pride and joy.  For those of you wondering if Old Rogue is right for you, keep in mind that this army took three days to paint at my usual speed!

Enjoy the photos!

Happy Painting,

Adam

The Next Kickstarter Is Here!

Good afternoon folks – wanted to give you all a quick heads-up that I’ll be assisting Galladoria Games with their newest Kickstarter, Rise of the Mimics II.  I’ll still be available for commissions of course – I always am! – and I’ll only be painting some of the mimics available.  So if you get a mimic that doesn’t look like my work, chances are that it isn’t!  There was some confusion about this last time, wanted to sort that out early.

Here’s the link!

A lot of projects that are nearly done on my end.  Working on the new Khorne models, and a Slannesh army, and the new Grymkin.  Also finally finished painting my own Gloomspite Gitz army, and am working on an army for Ebay over the next few weeks. It’s for Age of Sigmar, but I’m going to keep it under wraps until it’s finished!

Otherwise, no other news.  Watch this space 🙂

Happy painting,

Adam
